This role provides an exciting opening to become a member of the Trygg-Hansa Finance team, where you will be working in the FP&A and Financial Strategy team as a key asset in delivering high quality insights and business support.

The team acts as the central hub for management information and financials in Trygg-Hansa and provides the business partner units with standardized material, presentations, and ad hoc support, and as such, a strong stakeholder management mindset is as important as strong technical skills.

About the position
As a Financial Analyst, you will be owning the presentation and analysis tools that all our management information is based on, as well as maintaining the instruments used in both the team and the wider business. There will be a strong focus on creating smart deliveries, maximizing efficiency in our processes and for you to be a super user of the different data sources and systems used in Finance, Power-BI. The role will be data focused with a requirement of strong excel competence paired with a keen eye for visualisation.

As the position is critical for the rest of the team, it will provide a great learning environment, as well as wide exposure and long-term growth opportunities. The FP&A team, which is a central part of the Business finance office, and consists of two legs: analysts supporting the business partnering organizations, and a financial/BI leg creating solutions and data availability ensuring that we are utilizing the information available to the best degree possible, providing our stakeholder with insights to understand our business.

Your responsibilities as a BI Analyst
In the FP&A team, we hold the responsibility and ownership of all financial management information, including the data and presentation production of these. Your role will be primarily focused on supporting our visualization efforts of our financial data, including creating, developing and maintaining Power-BI dashboards that helps finance and your business colleagues to understand the financial development. You will work closely both with the finance team as well as various stakeholders in our business areas to ensure that we provide value and insights into the development of the P&L, expenses, FTEs as well as forecasting capabilities.

Aside from Power-BI and visualization, you will support the head of FP&A with ad hoc analysis and provide proactive insights into the trajectory of our business.

Your main responsibilities include:

Maintain, develop and create Power-BI environments to assist our performance management
Understanding the full P&L and be able to provide variances analysis
Assist the team with standardization, modernization and reporting excellence
Streamline and improve processes, spotting weaknesses in the monthly operational rhythm and call out opportunities for improvements
Support our forecasting process and provide ad hoc analysis

You will report to the Head of FP&A and Financial Strategy, part of the Business Finance office. The role is based in Stockholm, with limited travelling to be expected.

Your profile
We are looking for a person who:

Has a solid foundation in Power-BI, Excel and PowerPoint is a must
A background with developing Power-BI dashboards and utilizing different data sources to combine data in a visually appealing way
Exceptional at presenting data in a clear, structured manner to senior stakeholders
Experienced in financial analysis and controlling
Uses collaboration as lever for progress and works together with the team to succeed
Master of Business Administration, Economics or similar
Controller or BI background is preferred, with 2+ years of experience

Relevant background within Insurance is preferred but not required. Fluent in written and spoken English and a Nordic language is a must.

As a person, you are ambitious and looking for challenges and opportunities to grow while you strive when surrounded by a variety of tasks, with a flexible skillset allowing you to adapt to the task at hand. You are responsible for the creation, maintenance, and development of our Power-BI tools, and as such, strong Power-BI, excel and data management experience is needed. It is highly preferred that you are accustomed to controlling or financial analysis, as you will be required to work with the full P&L and explain how the development affects performance.
